Coming this fall is an exciting new television show about mining in British Columbia. The mini-series, Mining Your Future, will feature eight episodes over eight weeks with three unique jobs featured in each episode.

The show premieres on CTV on September 8, 2012. The 30-minute episodes will inform viewers about the mining industry in B.C. and will explore 24 of the 120 highest paying jobs in the province.

This show will be great for those who are just finishing school or those looking for a career change. There are over 10,000 jobs expected to open in the industry over the next 10 years and Mining Your Future is designed to showcase these opportunities.

Another special feature of the show is that at the end of each half-hour episode, there will be a live chat with individuals who work in the three careers just featured on that episode. Viewers will have the chance to ask questions about these potential professions.
