First concentrate shipment from Red Chris Mine

Imperial Metals' Red Chris mine recently announced they had made their first shipment of copper concentrate in mid-April.
The Edward Oldendorff was built in Nanjing, China.
"The first load of copper concentrate from the Red Chris mine was loaded at Stewart Bulk Terminals in Stewart, BC on April 11, 2015. This is the first shipment, and the inaugural voyage, for the new ship M/V Edward Oldendorff," stated Imperial Metals.
According to the BC Shipping News, "The Edward Oldendorff, built in Nanjing, China and delivered into service in March this year, is part of Oldendorff's three-year newbuild program and features an improved hull design as well as a more fuel-efficient engine. Both improvements allow for lower fuel consumption than vessels of the same size. She is 179.99 metres in length with a 30-metre breadth and a draft of 10.5 metres."
Imperial's wholly owned Red Chris copper/gold property is located 80 kilometres south of Dease Lake in northwest British Columbia. The property covers a total area of 29,482 hectares and is comprised of five 30 year mining leases covering 5,141 hectares and 83 mineral claims encompassing 24,341 hectares. The Red Chris project was issued a Mines Act permit in May 2012 by the Province of British Columbia.
